Kia EV2: Driver assistance guide / Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Kia EV2 (QV1, 2026-2026) Owner's Manual / Driver assistance guide / Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The advanced Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) continuously checks the inflation pressure of all four vehicle tyres on your Kia EV2 and instantly displays real-time data on the digital instrument cluster.

The monitoring interface utilizes specific visual alerts to keep you informed:

  1. Low tyre pressure warning lamp or combined TPMS electrical malfunction indicator light.

  2. Low tyre pressure position indicator light clearly mapped out on the instrument cluster display panel.

Tyre pressure indicator

  • You can check the live tyre pressure status conveniently within assist mode on the instrument cluster. For detailed configuration steps, refer to the dedicated LCD display modes documentation.

  • The comprehensive tyre pressure indicator readout typically appears on screen within 1 to 2 minutes after you start driving your vehicle.

  • If individual tyre pressures do not automatically display when the vehicle is stationary, a prompt stating Drive to display warning message will appear. After driving a short distance, check the pressure values again.

  • You can easily customize and select your preferred tyre pressure measurement units within the user settings menu on the instrument cluster: choose between psi, kPa, and bar units as outlined in the LCD display modes.

TIP

  • Actual tyre pressure readings may fluctuate due to external environmental factors such as local parking conditions, aggressive driving style, and significant changes in altitude above sea level.

  • The digital tyre pressure value shown on your vehicle instrument cluster might occasionally differ slightly from values measured manually using a standalone external tyre pressure gauge.

  • A low tyre pressure warning might trigger when a tyre's pressure level drops close to or equal to adjacent tyres due to ambient temperature shifts. This reflects normal operational behavior as tyre pressure correlates directly with internal tyre temperature changes during transit.
