When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position, pressing the dedicated steering wheel heater button rapidly warms up the rim of your Kia EV2. An indicator light will illuminate on the switch to confirm activation.

  • Press the steering wheel heater button to turn on the system; the indicator light will turn on as the wheel warms up.

  • To prevent low-temperature burns during extended use, the heating intensity is automatically managed after manual activation.

    • When operating on the 2nd level (strong), the system automatically drops down to the 1st level (weak) after approximately 30 minutes.

    • If left unadjusted, the heater will maintain the 1st level intensity until the vehicle ignition is turned off.

  • To deactivate the heater completely, press and hold the button until the indicator light goes out.

  • The automatic driver seat comfort control function does not activate when the steering wheel heater is set to level 1 (weak).

Operating condition(s)

  • The vehicle must be placed in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

CAUTION

If the surface leather or padding of the steering wheel is punctured or gouged by sharp objects, internal heating elements or the grip sensor can suffer permanent damage.

TIP

The integrated heating system automatically regulates temperature relative to cabin and ambient conditions whenever your Kia EV2 is operating. Consult the climate control section for further details.

    When the approaching vehicle is a long distance away, the image in the main mirror is small and near the inboard edge of the mirror.
