The advanced scheduled ventilation control function helps maintain exceptionally fresh, breathable air inside the passenger compartment of your Kia EV2 by automatically detecting and regulating cabin temperature and humidity levels even when the main climate control system has been turned off.
You can easily configure this feature by selecting Setup > Vehicle > Climate > Automatic Ventilation > Scheduled Ventilation from the vehicle's infotainment display.
The scheduled ventilation control function will immediately stop operating when:
The OFF button is manually selected on the climate panel.
Any of the physical or digital buttons of the climate control system are selected for active operation.
When the scheduled ventilation control function activates, an informational message will appear cleanly on the driver display screen for approximately 5 seconds.
Depending on the precise outside temperature, the interior blower fan will operate quietly for 5-15 minutes while the vehicle remains parked.
The desired starting time can be conveniently scheduled up to 24 hours in advance, and scheduled ventilation control will strictly operate after you have configured the feature.
The infotainment system may look or behave differently after a software update. For more details, refer to the complete user’s manual embedded in the infotainment system or your quick reference guide.
