Kia EV2: Automatic climate control system / Smart temperature comfort control system (for driver’s seat): (if equipped)

Kia EV2 (QV1, 2026-2026) Owner's Manual / Controls and Features / Automatic climate control system / Smart temperature comfort control system (for driver’s seat): (if equipped)

When your Kia EV2 is in the POWER ON position and the central climate control system is configured to AUTO, the intelligent smart temperature comfort control system steps in to seamlessly manage the driver’s seat warmer, air ventilated seat, and steering wheel heater based on real-time temperature telemetry gathered both inside and outside the vehicle cabin.

To prevent unwanted energy consumption and maintain user control, the steering wheel heater, seat warmer, and seat ventilation default to the off position whenever you restart your Kia EV2.

  • Select Settings > Vehicle > Seats > Heating/Ventilation > AUTO Controls from the intuitive infotainment system screen.

  • Then, select Climate Control > Settings > Steering Wheel Warmer > Seat Warmer > Ventilation from the infotainment system screen to customize your automated thermal comfort preferences.

The infotainment system interface layout may change after a system software update. For more detailed instructions, refer to the digital user’s manual built into the infotainment system or check your quick reference guide.
