Kia EV2: Automatic climate control system / Recirculate air: (if equipped)

This intelligent function automatically switches the air conditioning system inside your Kia EV2 to internal air circulation mode based on real-time navigation map data and vehicle speed, actively preventing polluted outside air from entering the cabin when passing through a tunnel or driving through areas with strong smells.

Additionally, it automatically activates to reduce any objectionable scent of the washer fluid from entering the cabin compartment whenever the windscreen washer is operated.

Select Settings > Vehicle > Climate > Recirculate Air on the infotainment system screen to configure your preferences.

• Activate upon Washer Fluid Use: Washer fluid odor is automatically prevented from entering the cabin space.

• Activate upon Entering Tunnels: Automatic closing of windows and activation of internal air circulation precisely upon approaching a tunnel.

About 7 seconds before your Kia EV2 enters the tunnel, the climate control system seamlessly switches to indoor circulation mode.

Operating condition(s)

• When driving on a highway or designated motorway

Be careful not to get any part of your body caught when the automatic windows are closing.

However, when the external temperature is low, condensation or moisture may accumulate on the windows. In this case, simply touch the front-windscreen defroster icon to clear it.
