Checking the washer fluid level

The windshield washer fluid reservoir on your Kia EV2 is molded from translucent material so you can conveniently check the remaining fluid level with a quick visual inspection.

Keep the washer reservoir filled to ensure clear visibility through the windscreen during adverse weather conditions.

Check the fluid level inside the washer fluid reservoir regularly and replenish it promptly whenever levels run low. While plain water can be used in warm weather if specialized washer fluid is unavailable, you should always use a high-quality washer solvent blended with antifreeze characteristics during cold winter climates to prevent freezing and cracking.

Washer fluid

• Never use engine radiator coolant or engine antifreeze inside the windscreen washer fluid reservoir.

• Engine coolant severely smears and obscures visibility when sprayed onto the windscreen of your Kia EV2, which can cause sudden loss of vehicle control and damage the vehicle paint and body trim.

• Windscreen washer fluid cleaning agents contain varying concentrations of alcohol and can become flammable under certain environmental conditions. Keep sparks, open flames, and lit cigarettes away from the washer fluid and reservoir opening to prevent severe vehicle damage or occupant injury.

• Windscreen washer fluid is toxic and poisonous to humans and domestic animals. Do not swallow or drink the fluid, and avoid prolonged skin contact, as serious injury or fatality could occur.
