Infants and younger children must be restrained in an appropriate rearward-facing or forward-facing CRS that has first been properly secured to the seat of the vehicle. Read, understand, and strictly comply with all instructions for installation and usage provided by the manufacturer of the Child Restraint System.
WARNING
Always follow the Child Restraint System manufacturer's specific instructions for installation and daily use.
Always properly and securely restrain your child within the Child Restraint System harness.
Do not use an infant carrier or a child safety seat that simply "hooks" over the top of a seatback, as it may not provide adequate structural protection during a collision.
After an accident, have your vehicle inspected by a professional workshop to ensure structural safety. Kia recommends visiting an authorised Kia dealer or service partner.
