Kia EV2: Seats / Front seat adjustment for power seat : (if equipped)

You can effortlessly adjust the driver’s seat of your Kia EV2 by utilizing the precision control switches located on the outside of the seat cushion. Before driving, fine-tune your seat to an optimal position ensuring easy reach and total control over the steering wheel, pedals, and instrument panel switches.

WARNING

Unattended children

Never leave children unattended inside the vehicle. Children can accidentally operate motorized features or power controls, leading to unexpected movement and potential injury.

NOTE

Power seating adjustments

• The power seating adjustments operate via electric motors. Continuous or repeated unnecessary operation may cause thermal strain or damage to the electrical equipment.

• Do not operate two or more power seat control switches simultaneously. Doing so can overload the electrical circuit and damage the motors or internal components.

CAUTION

When in active operation, power seats draw significant electrical energy from the vehicle. To prevent unnecessary drainage of the charging system, avoid adjusting the power seats for extended periods while the vehicle powertrain is not running.

Moving forward and backward

To move the seat forward or backward:

1. Push the power control switch forward or backward to glide the seat to your desired position.
2. Release the switch immediately once the seat reaches your optimal driving configuration.

Reclining seatback

To recline the seatback:

1. Push the control switch forward or backward to tilt the seatback to the desired angle.
2. Release the switch once the seatback reaches the desired comfortable posture.

Changing seat cushion tilt and height

To change the height and angle of the seat cushion:

1. Pull the front portion of the control switch upward to raise, or press it downward to lower, the front section of the seat cushion.
2. Pull the rear portion of the control switch upward to raise, or press it downward to lower, the rear section of the seat cushion.
3. Release the switch once the seat cushion reaches your preferred support angle.

Adjusting lumbar support: (if equipped)

Fine-tune the integrated lumbar support system by interacting with the dedicated lumbar switch located conveniently on the side of the seat.

1. Press the front portion (1) of the switch to increase lower back support, or press the rear portion (2) of the switch to decrease support intensity.

2. Release the switch as soon as the lumbar support reaches your desired comfort level.

NOTE

• Do not hold down the lumbar switch continuously after the mechanism has already reached its maximum extension limit, as this can cause burnout or damage to the internal motor.

• When operating the control switch, apply steady and balanced pressure to avoid shifting unintended seat functions. Adjust settings using moderate force.
