Use the tactile control levers positioned on the outer side of the seat cushion to manually adjust the front seats of your Kia EV2 to your preferred position.
Always adjust your seating position before setting the vehicle in motion. Make sure the seat is locked securely into place by attempting to slide it forward and backward without using the release lever. If the seat shifts position, it is not locked properly.

To recline the seatback:
The lever MUST fully return to its original resting position for the seatback locking mechanism to engage.
WARNING
Reclining seatback
Sitting in an excessive reclined position when your Kia EV2 is in motion presents severe safety risks. Even when buckled up, reclining the seatback greatly reduces the protective efficiency of the restraint system (including seat belts and air bags).
Seat belts must remain snug against an occupant’s hips and chest to function correctly during an impact. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its job because it fails to rest snugly across your chest. In a sudden accident, you could be thrown forcefully into the seat belt or slide underneath it, causing severe neck, abdominal, spinal, or other catastrophic injuries.
The further the seatback is reclined, the greater the statistical chance that your hips will slide under the lap belt or your neck will strike the shoulder strap.
