Forward Attention Warning utilizes an advanced in-cabin optical camera to help prevent the driver from becoming distracted whilst driving your Kia EV2, providing timely audible chimes and visual warning lights.

The technical diagram above illustrates the exact mounting location of the in-cabin detecting sensor within your Kia EV2.

CAUTION

Always keep the interior cabin camera lens clean and unblocked to ensure the Forward Attention Warning system maintains optimal performance.

If the interior rearview mirror is adjusted or excessively tilted so that the driver's face falls outside the optical field of view, the in-cabin camera will be unable to track the driver properly; consequently, Forward Attention Warning may fail to operate correctly and display a limitations warning message.

If the in-cabin camera lens is physically blocked or covered by objects, Forward Attention Warning will be unable to monitor the driver effectively and may display a disabled notification message.
