The innovative V2L power outlet supplies standard 230V electric power directly from your Kia EV2, allowing you to operate household electrical accessories, tools, or camping equipment while on the go.
To use the V2L power outlet safely, simply open up the protective cover and firmly connect your appliance plug while the vehicle is in the POWER ON position, when the READY indicator light is illuminated, or while Utility Mode is actively engaged.
For comprehensive operational details, safety instructions, and configuration guidelines, refer to the dedicated Vehicle to load (V2L) section in your official owner documentation.
CAUTION
Electric Accessory Devices
Never plug in damaged or structurally compromised electric accessories, as doing so can trigger a short circuit, severely damage the V2L power outlet, and compromise the main electrical systems of your Kia EV2.
Avoid running two or more high-draw electric accessories simultaneously through unapproved multi-plug adapters, since overloading the circuit may cause unexpected trips or permanent damage to the vehicle's onboard power architecture.
NOTE
V2L stands for Vehicle to Load, representing advanced bidirectional power delivery technology.
Rated output voltage specification: AC 230V
To avoid potential electrical system failures, unexpected power drops, or personal electric shock hazards, always review the owner's manual instructions thoroughly before plugging in heavy equipment.
Make sure to keep the protective socket cover securely closed at all times except when an appliance plug is actively inserted for use.
Always unplug your electrical accessories and equipment immediately after use. Leaving external appliances connected for extended periods while the vehicle is unattended can cause the 12V auxiliary battery to discharge.
Do not connect any electrical accessory or heavy-duty appliance whose total continuous power consumption exceeds the maximum capacity limit of the Kia EV2 power system.
If the high-voltage battery input drops below the minimum safe discharging threshold during heavy usage, the V2L system will automatically cut off power to protect the vehicle. Normal power output will resume automatically once the system voltage increases.
Although the continuous power draw of certain delicate electrical devices may technically fall within the AC inverter's rating range, those devices can still experience operational faults or failure under the following specific conditions:
If the connected appliance requires an unusually high surge of electric power during initial startup or motor engagement
If the connected equipment processes precise, sensitive, or laboratory-grade digital data
If the connected appliance demands an ultra-stable, medical-grade supply of electricity without minor fluctuations

Wireless smartphone charging system: (if equipped)If equipped, there is a small convex mirror built into the upper and outer corner of the driver outside mirror. It can show objects that may be in the vehicle's blind zone.
Driving with the Blind Spot Mirror

Actual Mirror View
When the approaching vehicle is a long distance away, the image in the main mirror is small and near the inboard edge of the mirror. As the vehicle gets closer, the image in the main mirror gets larger and moves outboard. As the vehicle enters the blind zone, the image transitions from the main mirror to the blind spot mirror. When the vehicle is in the blind zone, the image only appears in the blind spot mirror.
