Highway Driving Assist

Kia EV2 digital instrument cluster displaying active Highway Driving Assist system status and lane centering indicators

Highway Driving Assist on your Kia EV2 expertly detects surrounding lane markings and preceding vehicles to help maintain a safe following distance and pre-selected travel speed, while simultaneously centering your vehicle precisely within the lane during extended highway journeys.

This advanced automated function operates smoothly on the primary roadways of highways, urban expressways, and dedicated automobile-only roads, though it intentionally remains inactive at complex interchanges (IC) or structural junctions (JC).

Highway Lane Change Assist (if equipped)

Highway Lane Change Assist actively assists you in executing seamless and secure lane changes in the exact direction indicated by your turn signal switch, provided the onboard system thoroughly evaluates conditions and determines that a lane change maneuver is safe to perform.

TIP

  • Highway Driving Assist is available exclusively on designated controlled-access roads across supported highway networks.

A controlled-access highway features restricted entrances and exits designed to maintain uninterrupted, high-speed traffic flow. Only certified passenger cars and motorcycles are legally permitted to operate on these specialized controlled-access roads.

  • Additional highway segments and expanded regional road networks may become fully compatible with your Kia EV2 through future over-the-air navigation system updates.

Highway Driving Assist functions exclusively on main highway corridors and does not operate through complex traffic interchanges or junctions.
