For your personal safety, always adjust your vehicle settings only after parking your Kia EV2 securely in a safe location.

Towing a heavy trailer or mounting an external roof carrier can negatively impact vehicle handling stability. Disable the automated functions if necessary and always drive with heightened caution.

Never use the system when towing another vehicle or when auxiliary equipment that interferes with radar sensors or alters vehicle weight distribution is installed, as this may cause unpredictable system behavior.

The Highway Lane Change Assist function (if equipped) may fail to operate properly when a trailer, cargo carrier, or alternative equipment is attached, or when towing another vehicle. Avoid using this feature under such conditions.

When connecting a trailer or carrier, ensure you configure the dedicated trailer menu (if equipped). If the driver manually selects the profile or if the towing attachment is automatically recognized via genuine factory components, certain driver assistance capabilities may be restricted. To successfully utilize Highway Lane Change Assist, the core Highway Driving Assist feature must be active and running.

If a persistent technical fault occurs within the Highway Lane Change Assist feature, settings cannot be modified, and your vehicle must be inspected by a certified professional workshop. Kia strongly recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer or authorized service partner.

Both Highway Driving Assist and Highway Lane Change Assist automatically retain their previous user configurations when you restart your vehicle.

Your custom Warning Methods selections may simultaneously apply to various other active driver assistance systems across your vehicle.

Warning Methods configurations are fully saved and maintained when you turn OFF and restart your Kia EV2.

The Warning Methods settings menu layout may vary slightly or might not be available depending on specific vehicle trim packages.

The acoustic warning volume and steering wheel haptic vibration alerts cannot both be disabled simultaneously; if one alerting method is turned off, the alternative safety method remains active (if equipped).

The warning sound associated with Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist is muted when the master warning volume is set to zero or when the dedicated Blind-Spot Safety sound option is unchecked.
