When operating high-pressure washing equipment on your Kia EV2, always maintain a safe, sufficient distance between the nozzle and the vehicle body. Insufficient distance or excessive water pressure can lead to severe component damage or unwanted water penetration.
Do not direct high-pressure spray jets straight at exterior cameras, ultrasonic sensors, or their immediate surrounding housing areas, as intense mechanical shock from high-pressure water may disrupt or permanently impair their electronic operation.
Avoid bringing high-pressure nozzle tips close to the rubber or plastic protective boots, CV boots, or electrical connectors of your Kia EV2, as direct impact can easily rupture or compromise them.
NOTE
Wetting motor compartment
Washing the motor compartment of your Kia EV2 with water jets, including high-pressure washing, can cause sensitive high-voltage electrical circuits and wiring harnesses located in the motor compartment to malfunction.
Never allow water or other liquids to infiltrate electronic components, control units, or air intake ducts, as moisture ingress can cause permanent electrical failure.
After washing the vehicle, operate the brakes cautiously while monitoring surrounding traffic conditions until normal braking functionality is completely restored across your Kia EV2.
NOTE
Matte paint finish vehicle (if equipped)
Automotive automatic car washes utilizing rotating mechanical brushes should never be used on a matte-finished Kia EV2, as mechanical friction will permanently mar and polish the specialized matte surface. Furthermore, utilizing steam cleaners that apply high-temperature water to the vehicle exterior may cause residual oils to adhere to the porous finish, leaving stubborn stains that are extremely difficult to remove.
Always utilize a clean, ultra-soft cloth (such as a premium microfiber towel or soft wash sponge) when washing your Kia EV2, and dry the panels gently with a clean microfiber towel. During hand washing, avoid any car shampoo or cleaner containing wax additives. If the vehicle surface is heavily contaminated with abrasive sand, caked-on dirt, or road dust, pre-rinse the surface thoroughly with copious amounts of water before initiating physical contact washing.

WaxingWarning
Never leave a child, a helpless adult, or a pet alone in a vehicle, especially with the windows closed in warm or hot weather. They can be overcome by the extreme heat and suffer permanent injuries or even death from heat stroke.
