Immediately after injecting the liquid sealant into the flat tyre of your Kia EV2, it is mandatory to drive the vehicle for a short distance so that the chemical compound becomes evenly distributed across the interior tread surface of the tyre.
|
Promptly drive a distance of approximately 7 to 10 km (4 to 6 miles, or roughly 10 minutes of driving time) to ensure the sealant coats the inner lining evenly.
Do not exceed a maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph) during this procedure. If road conditions permit, try not to drop below a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph).
Whilst driving your Kia EV2 during this distribution phase, if you notice any unusual mechanical vibrations, abnormal ride disturbances, or strange road noises, reduce your speed further and drive with heightened caution until you can safely pull off to the side of the road.
CAUTION
When you utilize the Tyre Mobility Kit, the sensitive tyre pressure sensors and wheel rim may become stained with residual sealant. Have the affected tyre pressure sensors and wheel cleaned or inspected by a professional workshop; Kia recommends visiting an authorised Kia dealer or certified service partner for expert assistance.
