Tap the AUTO icon on your interface screen.

The airflow distribution modes, fan blower speeds, fresh air intake dampers, and air-conditioning compressor functions are then managed automatically based on your targeted temperature setting.

Press or twist the temperature control mechanism to select your preferred cabin thermal level.

TIP

To interrupt full automatic operation and take manual control, press or adjust any of the following interactive inputs:

Mode selection lever or touchscreen icon

Air conditioning compressor icon

Front windscreen defroster icon

Press the icon again to deselect the front windscreen defroster function. The AUTO indicator sign will reappear on the information display once normal automatic operation resumes.

Fan speed control lever or slider

The specific feature you modify will switch to manual regulation, while all unselected climate functions continue to operate automatically in the background.

To achieve the fastest and most efficient climate control performance in your Kia EV2, press the AUTO icon and set the target temperature to 22 °C (72 °F).

TIP

For optimal electronic regulation of the heating and cooling system algorithms, never place papers, mats, or objects over the thermal sun sensor (1) positioned on top of the dashboard.
