The adjustable tilt and telescopic steering column allows you to customize the position of the steering wheel to suit your exact driving posture before setting off in your Kia EV2. Additionally, you can tilt the wheel fully upward to create generous leg clearance when entering or exiting the cabin.
Position the steering wheel so that it feels comfortable during long drives while ensuring an unobstructed view of all instrument panel gauges and warning lights.
WARNING
Steering wheel adjustment
Never attempt to adjust the angle or height of the steering wheel while the Kia EV2 is in motion, as doing so can cause you to lose control of the vehicle.

To unlock the steering column and change the steering wheel angle or reach, pull down firmly on the lock release lever (1).
Adjust the steering wheel to your preferred distance forward or backward (2) and set the desired tilt angle (3).
Position the steering wheel so that it points toward your chest rather than directly at your face, and verify that you have a clear line of sight to all instrument panel gauges and warning lights. Once adjusted, push the lock release lever securely back up.
Push and pull the steering wheel up, down, forward, and back to ensure it is locked securely into place.
Always complete your steering adjustments and confirm full stability before driving your Kia EV2.
NOTE
Occasionally, the lock-release lever may not fully engage on the first attempt if internal gear teeth happen to align tip-to-tip. If this occurs, simply adjust the steering wheel position slightly up or down and re-engage the lever. This is normal mechanical behavior and does not indicate a defect.
