Kia EV2: Electric vehicle guide / Scheduled charging

Kia EV2 (QV1, 2026-2026) Owner's Manual / Electric vehicle guide / Scheduled charging

You can effortlessly configure a tailored charging schedule for your Kia EV2 using either the central infotainment display, the Kia App, or the connected mobile portal. Check the on-board digital manual and quick reference guide for detailed configuration procedures.

Scheduled charging operations can be set up exclusively when utilizing an AC charger or a compatible portable charger equipped with an In-Cable Control Box (ICCB).

When a scheduled charge routine is active and you plug in your AC charger or portable charging cable (ICCB), a specialized schedule release indicator button lights up for 3 minutes to confirm that deferred charging is currently enabled.

Keep in mind that when scheduled charging is configured, energy replenishment will not begin immediately upon plugging in your AC charger or portable ICCB unit.

If you ever need to bypass the timer and charge your Kia EV2 immediately, press and hold the dedicated charging control button located near the charging door for 2 seconds, or temporarily disable the schedule via the infotainment system or mobile application.
