• The high voltage battery temperature is either excessively high or too low for optimal operation.

• The electric drive motor temperature has exceeded normal operating thresholds.

• The bonnet or hood is currently open.

WARNING

Do not accelerate harshly or start the Kia EV2 suddenly when this warning message displays. Instead, if the high voltage battery charge level is too low, connect it to a charger immediately.

NOTE

When the power is limited for the safety of the high-powered parts of the Kia EV2, the dedicated power down indicator light illuminates. Your vehicle might experience reduced acceleration, limited driveability, or a tendency to roll back on a steep slope when this indicator light is active.
