Using improper Kia AddGear accessories whilst driving may distract the driver and increase the risk of injuries in the event of a collision or sudden stop.

When using Kia AddGear near power ports, do not put a finger or a foreign object (such as a pen) into or touch the V2L power outlet. You may suffer an electric shock or cause a fire.

Do not attach sharp or fragile objects to the headlining when installing Kia AddGear accessories. In the event of an accident, airbag deployment may cause these objects to become dangerous projectiles, resulting in serious injury or death.

If the accessory is not an official Kia genuine product, you must thoroughly check its material quality and design specifications before use.

If the dimensions do not fit properly or if the material lacks sufficient structural strength, the item may detach or break, leading to unexpected injuries.

Be careful not to exceed the maximum load limit indicated on the cover. Exceeding the load limit may permanently damage the mounting components.

When using Kia AddGear accessories in the luggage area of your Kia EV2, ensure the load is evenly distributed within the specified weight limits.

The maximum load indicated on the cover applies only to closely-mounted types. In the case of cantilever configurations, the maximum load capacity may be lower than that of closely-mounted types.

When using Kia AddGear accessories on the rear part of the centre console, make sure to close the V2L power outlet cover properly.

After installing any Kia AddGear accessories, regularly check their fastening status to ensure stability.

Before driving, make sure the storage fastening parts of the Kia AddGear accessories are fully secure so stored items do not become dislodged during travel.

Always remove relevant Kia AddGear accessories when folding down the 2nd row seatbacks. Failure to do so may result in mechanical damage to the accessory or other vehicle components.
