The Daytime Running Lights (DRL) enhance safety by making the front profile of your Kia EV2 much more visible to oncoming traffic and pedestrians during daylight hours.

The DRL system will automatically deactivate its lamps under specific operational states:

When the light switch is configured to the AUTO or ON position, the parking brake is engaged, and the headlamp switch is set to OFF.
When the vehicle power system is placed in the OFF position.
When the hazard warning lights are actively flashing.
When the directional turn signal light is operating.
