To clean the sensitive air bag pad covers inside your Kia EV2, use only a soft, dry cloth or a cloth lightly moistened with plain water. Chemical solvents, alcohol, or commercial interior cleaners can adversely degrade the air bag covers and structurally compromise or prevent the proper deployment of the system during an emergency.

If you ever need to discard components of the air bag system or scrap your Kia EV2 vehicle entirely, you must strictly observe certified safety precautions and disposal procedures. Do not tamper with, modify, or disconnect SRS wiring harnesses, connectors, or other safety components of the SRS system in your Kia EV2. Doing so could result in the accidental, unintended inflation of the air bag modules or render the critical safety SRS completely inoperative when you need it most.

Always ensure the ignition switch is completely off and wait for at least 3 minutes whenever your Kia EV2 is being towed. The sensitive side and curtain air bags may inadvertently inflate if the vehicle experiences steep tilting or angular motion during towing operations due to the highly responsive rollover sensors integrated into the vehicle.
