Replacing the rear turn signal lamp

To replace the rear turn signal lamp (bulb type), follow these steps:

1. Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF position and disconnect the negative 12V battery terminal.
2. Open the tailgate.
3. Open the service cover.
4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the lamp assembly retaining screws.
5. Remove the rear combination lamp assembly from the body of the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector.
7. To remove the socket from the assembly, turn the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.
8. Press the bulb in to the socket and rotate it counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb align with the socket. Then, remove the bulb from the socket.
9. Insert a new bulb into the socket and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.
10. To install the socket back into the assembly, align the tabs on the socket with the slots in the assembly, push the socket into the assembly, and turn the socket clockwise.
11. Reinstall the lamp assembly onto the vehicle body and securely fasten the retaining screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
12. Close the service cover.

Replacing the map lamp

To safely replace the map light (bulb type) within your Kia EV2 cabin, follow these detailed professional steps:

1. Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF position and disconnect the negative 12V battery terminal to eliminate any risk of electrical short circuits.

3. Pull the old bulb straight out of its friction-fit socket to remove it completely.

5. Align the retention tabs on the lens cover meticulously with the corresponding notches in the lamp housing, and snap the lens securely back into place.

3. Pull the exhausted bulb straight out of the socket to remove it cleanly.
4. Install a new compatible bulb securely into the electrical socket.
5. Align the molded tabs on the lens cover with the designated notches in the lamp housing, and snap the lens firmly back into the lamp housing.

To replace the luggage light (bulb type) located in the cargo bay of your Kia EV2, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the vehicle is in the OFF position and disconnect the negative 12V battery terminal.
2. Use a slotted (flat-tip) screwdriver to gently pry the lamp assembly cover from the vehicle interior trim.
3. Remove the protective cover completely from the light assembly unit.
4. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket to remove it.
5. Install a new replacement bulb firmly in the socket.
6. Replace the cover securely on the lamp assembly.
7. Reinstall the complete lamp assembly back into the vehicle interior panel.
