The state-of-the-art Remote Smart Parking Assist system on your Kia EV2 leverages an extensive array of front, front-side, rear-side, and rear ultrasonic sensors to seamlessly scan complex parking environments, accurately detect available spaces, and intelligently coordinate vehicle steering, precise speed adjustments, and gear shifts so you can effortlessly enter and exit tight parking bays remotely from outside the vehicle.

Remote Smart Parking may be operated conveniently from outside the vehicle using your official smart key fob or digital key application.
When Remote Smart Parking Assist operates, the Parking Distance Warning and Surround View Monitor systems will also activate automatically. For more comprehensive details, refer to the Parking Distance Warning (PDW) and Surround View Monitor (SVM) sections.

WARNING

Never attempt to physically disassemble or apply heavy impact to any ultrasonic sensor or its surrounding bumper structure.

If foreign substances such as snow, ice, or heavy rain obstruct the ultrasonic sensors, detection performance may be compromised. Regularly inspect the sensors and gently clean away any accumulated dirt using a soft cloth.

Do not press forcefully against the ultrasonic sensors, strike them with hard objects, or scratch their sensitive faces with sharp tools.

Do not spray the ultrasonic sensors directly with a high-pressure water washer during car washes.

Remote Smart Parking Assist may fail to operate properly if the factory bumper height has been altered, if sensor installation angles are modified, or if stickers and accessories obstruct the direct field of view.
