Chevrolet Silverado: Power Windows / Programming the Power Windows
Programming may be necessary if the vehicle battery has been disconnected or
discharged. If the window is unable to express-up, program each express-close window:
- Close all doors.
- Turn the ignition on or to ACC/ACCESSORY.
- Partially open the window to be programmed. Then close it and continue to
pull the switch briefly after the window has fully closed.
- Open the window and continue to press the switch briefly after the window
has fully opened.
Remote Window Operation
If equipped, this feature allows the windows to be opened remotely. If enabled
in vehicle personalization, press and hold
on the RKE transmitter. See Vehicle
Personalization.
Window Automatic Reversal System
The express-close feature will reverse window movement if it comes in contact
with an object.
Extreme cold or ice could cause the window to auto-reverse...
If equipped, the power sliding rear window works when the ignition has been turned
on or to ACC/ACCESSORY, or Retained Accessory Power (RAP) must be active...
Other information:
Warning
Driving at high speeds, 160 km/h (100 mph) or higher, puts additional strain
on tires. Sustained high-speed driving causes excessive heat buildup and can cause
sudden tire failure. This could cause a crash, and you or others could be killed...
Use the sliding knobs on the center and side air vents to change the direction
of the airflow.
Air vents blow warm air on the side windows in cold weather. If Floor, Defog,
or Defrost modes are selected, a small amount of air will come from the vents close
to the window...

The vehicle has a passenger sensing system for the front outboard passenger position.
The passenger airbag status indicator will light on the overhead console when the
vehicle is started.
