Curtain air bag

The actual curtain air bags installed in your Kia EV2 vehicle may slightly differ from the visual representation in the illustration.

Advanced curtain air bags in the Kia EV2 are strategically positioned along both sides of the interior roof rails, stretching securely above the front and rear passenger doors.

They are meticulously engineered to protect the heads of both front seat occupants and rear outboard seat occupants during qualifying side impact collisions.

The curtain air bags deploy during specific side impact collisions, depending strictly on the calculated crash severity. The curtain air bags do not deploy in all side impact or rollover situations, nor do they activate during direct collisions from the front or rear of the vehicle or in standard driving conditions.
