Kia EV2: Controls and Features / Storage compartments
You can use the versatile storage compartments conveniently located throughout the cabin of the Kia EV2 to store small personal items belonging to the driver or passengers:

To avoid possible theft or unwanted break-ins, never leave valuable personal items unattended in the storage compartments.

Always keep the storage compartment covers securely closed whilst driving. Do not attempt to place so many items in a storage compartment that it cannot close properly and securely.
WARNING
Flammable materials
Do not store propane cylinders, aerosol cans, or other flammable or explosive materials inside the vehicle. These items may catch fire or explode if the Kia EV2 is exposed to hot temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Centre console storage

To open the main compartment of the centre console storage in your Kia EV2, simply pull up the release lever.
There is an additional open storage tray positioned on the lower part of the centre console storage for quick-access items.
Glove box
|
To open the glove box on your Kia EV2, press the release button and the compartment door will automatically open smoothly.
Close the glove box firmly after use to keep the cabin tidy.
WARNING
Glove box
To reduce the risk of injury in the event of a sudden stop or collision, always keep the glove box door fully closed whilst driving the Kia EV2.
CAUTION
Do not keep perishable food or temperature-sensitive items in the glove box for an extended period of time.
TIP
If the climate temperature control switch is set to the warm or hot position, warm air will naturally flow into the glove box.
Luggage net holder: (if equipped)
To keep items from shifting or sliding around in the cargo area of your Kia EV2, you can use the 4 floor-mounted holders to attach a luggage net (if equipped), or you can fold the luggage net in half and attach it vertically using the additional 2 holders located on each side panel.

If necessary, contact a professional workshop for assistance. Kia recommends visiting an authorised Kia dealer or service partner for vehicle accessories.
WARNING
DO NOT overstretch the luggage net and ALWAYS keep your face and body completely out of the luggage net’s recoil path. Failure to comply with these safety instructions may result in severe facial injuries. DO NOT use the luggage net when the strap or hooks show visible signs of wear or structural damage.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to fragile cargo or the vehicle interior, exercise caution when carrying delicate or bulky objects in the luggage compartment of your Kia EV2.
Luggage board
The essential emergency tools and equipment are located neatly beneath the luggage board of your Kia EV2 for quick and easy access.

Grasp the handle integrated on the top of the cover and lift it upward.

Fold the rear part of the luggage board forward toward the front seats.

Lift up the luggage tray or floor panel to access the storage space below.
