The performance capabilities of summer tyres drop substantially when operating on snow-covered or icy surfaces, as these compounds do not feature the M+S (Mud and Snow) traction rating on their sidewalls. If you intend to navigate your vehicle through wintery, snowy, or freezing conditions, Kia strongly recommends swapping to dedicated snow tyres or all-season tyres across all four wheels.
