Speedometer

The digital speedometer clearly indicates the current travel speed of your Kia EV2 and can be read in both kilometers per hour (km/h) and miles per hour (mph).

Power/Charge gauge

The Power/Charge gauge illustrates the live energy consumption rate of the electric powertrain as well as the active charge and discharge behavior of the regenerative braking system on your Kia EV2.

• CHARGE: Displays the electrical energy consumption rate when accelerating or navigating uphill. Higher power draw increases the active gauge level.

• POWER: Displays the high-voltage battery charging rate when energy is recuperated through regenerative braking during deceleration or downhill coasting. Higher energy recovery decreases the gauge level display.

Battery SOC (State of Charge) gauge

This dedicated gauge tracks the precise energy state of charge (SOC) for the high-voltage traction battery. When the battery charge level approaches the "0" threshold, your Kia EV2 requires immediate recharging.

Odometer

The cumulative odometer tracks the total distance your Kia EV2 has traveled, serving as the primary metric for scheduling periodic maintenance and servicing intervals.

• Odometer measurement range: 0-1,599,999 km or 999,999 miles.

Distance to empty

• The estimated driving range varies based on your driving style, auxiliary electrical load demands, environmental conditions, and available high-voltage battery energy. The distance to empty value shown on your Kia EV2 screen may differ from official certification ranges because these dynamic factors are continuously evaluated.

• Driving style accounts for vehicle speed and aggressive acceleration or deceleration habits. Higher cruising speeds or frequent acceleration cycles will reduce the overall distance to empty.

• Electrical load usage encompasses climate control, cabin heating, headlights, and auxiliary electronics. Higher power consumption by these onboard systems will diminish your driving range.

• Environmental factors include ambient weather, outside temperature, and terrain topography. Driving in heavy rain, snow, strong headwinds, low temperatures, or traversing steep uphill and rough road surfaces reduces the driving range.

• High-voltage battery energy capacity corresponds directly to the state of charge (SOC), though it can fluctuate depending on current battery temperature and overall health (SOH).

Outside temperature gauge

This indicator provides real-time updates of the outside ambient temperature in increments of 1°C (1°F).

• Ambient temperature operational range: -40-60°C (-40-140°F)

To prevent driver distraction, the outside temperature readout on your Kia EV2 display updates gradually rather than shifting instantly like a standard thermometer.
